Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

At Arisée, we believe that good furniture should be accompanied by clarity, care, and considered service. These Terms of Service explain how we sell our products, how orders are accepted, how delivery and returns work, and the rights and responsibilities that apply when you shop with us.

We have written these Terms in a clear and straightforward way, so that the experience of purchasing from Arisée feels calm, transparent, and well considered from the outset.

1. About Arisée

In these Terms, “Arisée”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to:

Arisée LTD
Company number: 16782577
Email: customerservice@arisee.uk
Contact number: +44 020 3597 3386

These Terms apply to purchases made through our website and other direct sales channels, unless separate written terms apply.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to purchases made by consumers for personal use.

If you are purchasing for trade, commercial, hospitality, interior design, contract, resale, or other business purposes, separate terms may apply.

3. Our Products

Arisée specialises in furniture including dining chairs, bar stools, hallway chairs, children’s chairs, and related seating pieces.

We take care to present our products as accurately as possible. However, the following should be noted: dimensions may vary slightly unless expressly stated otherwise; colours and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting conditions, screen settings, and display devices; natural, woven, upholstered, painted, powder-coated, or hand-finished materials may show subtle variation in colour, tone, grain, texture, or surface detail; styling props, accessories, and surrounding décor shown in photography are for presentation only unless expressly included.

Such natural or batch variation may form part of the intended character of the piece and does not necessarily indicate a fault.

4. Use of Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any part of the website, product copy, imagery, branding, or design content without our prior written permission.

We may update, amend, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website at any time.

5. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Some Arisée items may be held in stock, while others may be made to order, produced in limited runs, or finished to a particular specification. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw products, revise specifications, or update lead times prior to accepting an order.

6. Placing an Order

Orders may be placed through our website or, where offered, through direct correspondence with our team.

After an order is submitted, you may receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms that we have received your order request, but it does not mean that the order has been accepted.

7. Order Acceptance and Contract Formation

A contract between you and Arisée is formed only when we accept your order in writing. This will usually be when we issue an order confirmation, dispatch confirmation, or other written acceptance.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will let you know and, where applicable, refund any payment already taken as soon as reasonably possible.

We may decline an order where, for example: the product is unavailable;  there is a pricing or product information error; payment cannot be authorised or verified; delivery is not available to the address given; the order appears to be placed for resale or business use under consumer terms.

8. Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).

Unless stated otherwise: prices shown on the website include VAT where applicable; delivery charges are shown separately at checkout or confirmed before order acceptance; optional services, including special delivery arrangements or other enhanced services, may be charged separately.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an error affects your order, we may contact you before proceeding.

9. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available at checkout or otherwise agreed by us in writing. Depending on the item, payment may be taken: at the time the order is placed; when the order is accepted; or in staged payments where clearly stated for made-to-order or special-order items.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

10. Made-to-Order, Bespoke and Personalised Items

Some Arisée products may be made to order, customised, or otherwise produced to a customer’s requested specification.

This may include, for example: bespoke finishes; custom upholstery selections; made-to-order specification changes; customised dimensions or configurations; any item clearly identified as bespoke, made to order, or personalised for your order.

Once accepted, production of these items may begin shortly after order confirmation.

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or goods that are clearly personalised. For Arisée, this may include bespoke finishes, custom upholstery selections, made-to-order specification changes, or any item clearly confirmed as custom-made for your order.

These items remain eligible for a remedy if faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or otherwise not in conformity with your legal rights.

11. Delivery

Estimated delivery timeframes are provided on the product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all delivery dates are estimates only.

Delivery may be carried out by Arisée or through a third-party delivery partner.

To help ensure successful delivery, you are responsible for ensuring that: the delivery address is accurate and complete; access to the property is suitable for the item ordered; any relevant access restrictions are disclosed in advance, including stairs, narrow entrances, lifts, parking limitations, or timed building access; someone is available to receive the order where required.

If delivery cannot be completed because access is not possible, no one is available to accept delivery, the appointment is missed, or the goods are refused without prior agreement, we reserve the right to charge reasonable redelivery, storage, handling, return, or related logistical costs where applicable.

Where goods are returned to us or to our delivery partner due to failed delivery, non-collection, or refusal without prior arrangement, the order will not be treated as cancelled automatically. Any further delivery or return arrangement will be subject to our review and may incur additional charges.

Risk in the goods passes to you once the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or into the possession of a person identified by you to receive them.

12. Inspection on Delivery

We ask that you inspect your order within a reasonable time after delivery.

If there is any issue with damage, missing parts, incorrect items, or other delivery concerns, please contact us promptly and provide: your order number; the product name; a brief description of the issue; photographs or video where possible.

Prompt notification helps us assess the matter and resolve it more efficiently.

13. Assembly

Some products are delivered fully assembled, while others may require small assembly or light setup.

Where assembly is required, this will normally be stated on the product page or in your order information.

If self-assembly is required, you should follow the instructions provided carefully. We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, modification, or failure to follow the supplied guidance.

14. Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase from us online as a consumer, you will usually have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

To exercise this right, you must inform us clearly in writing before the cancellation period ends.

Once you have notified us of cancellation, you will usually have a further 14 days to return the goods.

This right does not apply to bespoke, made-to-order to your specification, or clearly personalised items, as set out above.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or otherwise non-conforming goods.

15. Condition of Returned Goods

If you cancel under your statutory cooling-off rights, you may inspect the goods in the same way you might in a showroom, but you must not use them beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.

To help ensure a safe and efficient return process, returned goods should be sent back: complete with all parts and accessories; in their original packaging where possible; securely packed for safe transit; in a clean and carefully handled condition.

If the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

16. Return Costs for Change of Mind

Unless we expressly state otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where you cancel for change of mind.

For larger furniture items, this may involve a collection charge or specialist return courier cost.

If we arrange a return collection on your behalf, the relevant cost will be confirmed before the collection is booked.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied, or not as described.

17. Refunds

Where a cancellation or return is accepted, we will process any refund due within the applicable legal timeframe.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been returned to us or evidence of return has been provided.

Any refund of the original delivery charge will be limited to the standard outbound delivery service where required by law. Additional charges for premium delivery services, special handling, or enhanced delivery arrangements may be excluded from refund where permitted.

18. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights.

If your product is faulty, damaged, materially not as described, or otherwise not in conformity with contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can review the matter and provide an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, or another suitable resolution in accordance with your legal rights.

19. Natural Variation and Product Character

Many Arisée pieces are made using materials and finishes that may vary naturally from one item to another.

This may include slight variation in: tone or colour depth; grain pattern; weave tension; stitch detail; texture; finish character; hand-applied or hand-finished details.

Such differences may form part of the intended character of the product and are not necessarily faults.

20. Product Care and Intended Use

Our products are intended for normal domestic use unless specifically stated otherwise.

You are responsible for using and caring for the product appropriately, including: following any care or maintenance guidance provided; using the item only for its intended purpose; taking reasonable care to protect it from misuse, overloading, staining, impact, neglect, or unsuitable environmental exposure.

Outdoor products should be used and cared for appropriately, and where relevant should be protected or stored under cover during prolonged severe weather.

21. Promotions, Discount Codes and Credit

From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing, discount codes, store credit, or goodwill credit.

Unless stated otherwise: promotions cannot be combined; codes must be applied at checkout; offers cannot be applied retrospectively; credit is non-transferable; credit is not redeemable for cash.

Any additional terms notified at the time of issue will also apply.

22. Intellectual Property

All content on the Arisée website, including product names, descriptions, copy, layout, imagery, photography, branding, graphics, and design assets, belongs to Arisée or its licensors.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial browsing only. No part of the site may be copied, reproduced, adapted, republished, distributed, or reused without our prior written permission.

23. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform any obligation where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include freight disruption, severe weather, industrial action, materials shortages, carrier delays, fire, flood, power failure, cyber incidents, government action, or other force majeure events.

Where this happens, we will do our best to minimise disruption and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.

24. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are responsible only for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not liable for: business losses suffered by consumer purchasers; loss arising from misuse, neglect, improper care, or unauthorised modification; damage caused by incorrect self-assembly; ordinary wear and tear or natural ageing of materials over time.

25. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to your personal data.

26. Complaints and Customer Care

If you have any concern regarding your order or experience with Arisée, please contact us first. We will always aim to review the matter carefully and resolve it fairly.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

28. No Waiver

If we delay in enforcing any part of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, at a later date.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law in another part of the United Kingdom applies to you.

If you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your home courts where applicable.
